Friday, October 17: Hello, This is Dane tonight. I wanted each of you to know that I have been praying for the people who have been praying for me. I asked God to bless each person. I want thank everyone who has prayed for me. I know that I am better because of the Lord and the prayers of so many people. I wanted to share a favorite verse, “The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.” Job 33:4 Mom is going to take over from here. He had an amazing day!!! Thankful for every person who blessed us today. Dane was greeted with smiles and hugs and he felt very welcome and at home. Our awesome principal, Mrs Murphy, walked us all to Dane’s class. She has been so supportive through this whole process. As Diran and I left the school, we were overcome with gratitude as we stood in front of the school for the mercy the Lord has shown us, for the day that he blessed us with and the fact that just 21 weeks ago our son suffered a horrific accident and today he walked into school. God is BIG, God is GREAT! We have asked to have an aide with him to help him navigate the classes and campus. Our sweet aide, Mrs. Romines, said Dane did amazing and was able to stay on task without help, he was steady on his feet and he took a lot of notes. I was amazed at his handwriting. We went to lunch with Dad and Holley and then we got a haircut. Praise the Lord…….how great is our God, sing with me, how Great is our God, and all will see how great, how great is our God……………….Sunday’s coming………….
