Friday, October 31 - Nottwil, Switzerland. Thanks to my jet lag I got up at 4 AM and after just starring at the ceiling for almost 2 hours, I decided to get up and start getting ready to fly not only the DJI Vision+, but also the Inspire. Since I had not flown the Inspire before, I first took out the Vision+ and I went on a little adventure early in the morning. Then I came back and devoted my time to setting up the Inspire, turning everything on and taking off. Oh yes, I was nervous as I had no idea what to expect and there was nobody around for me to ask questions or to jump in. The app alone was completely different and had so many more functions. Not on mention all the various new buttons on the radio. Well, radios! There were two radios and I first had to figure out which one was for piloting the Inspire (master) and which one was for just the camera (slave). I spooled up the motors and immediately had a smile on my face. The sound of the motors and the blades was much deeper than the Phantom. But not louder! In fact, the Inspire seems quieter than the Phantom, even in flight. Once the motors were on, I double checked the screen to make sure I had a proper home point set, that I had enough satellites and then I pushed the left stick forward and the Inspire gracefully, and with power, lifted off the ground. I immediately noticed how stable it was, hovering just about 10 feet off the ground. Believe me when I say, I felt immediately confident in this new machine and so I pushed both the left stick and the right stick more forward and immediately flew over the shore of Lake Sempach. And this her is the very first video of the Inspire in Switzerland. I did not do anything fancy but rather tried to figure out some of the controls and buttons. DJI Globals Inspire really is a solid quadcopter with power and functionality. #DJI #DJICreator #Inspire #InspireDJI
