Friday Prayer God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; We pray today that in our hearts, we set Christ apart as our Lord, Give us strength and wisdom to be prepared to give an answer to everyone who ask us; to give reasons for the hope we have in Christ. May we do this with gentleness and respect. Father, let our good deeds speak against those that say evil against us. For in Christ we have found the greatest love of all. Therefore if we confess with our mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved. For it is with our heart that we believe and are justified, and it is with our mouth that we confess and are saved. Lord, we pray for all the Ruwadzano / Manyano UK women, gathered at Hayes Conference Centre in Swanswick Derby for their Convention 2014, may they be touched by your love to be the women in transformation. May the Spirit of our living Christ be with us forever! Amen. (Prayer based on 1 Peter 3:15 & Romans 10:9-10)
