Friday a week ago, someone was nice enough to roll our yard. No big deal. They left four partial rolls of toilet paper. Not a bad deal for cleaning up the yard. This Friday, Halloween, I sat up most of the night waiting for a repeat performance; it never came. So Saturday night, I waited again. Ian and OLen busted the first car load of rollers. They fled and never returned. We waited around, patiently watching. About an hour later we see a car go down the road. We slipped out the back. I walked around the side of the house where I saw a shadow that should not have been there. The roller had frozen in his tracks. I stood stock still for 45 seconds, trying to be sure of what I was seeing. It was very dark in the side yard. Then he moved. I shouted and flew into action. The first water balloon struck with amazing accuracy. The interloper screamed like a little girl, They have water! I do not think the second or third water balloon met their mark, but how fun was that? Oh, and got two more rolls of toilet paper; one with the glue seal unbroken. I just wish they would have broke down and spent the money to buy Scotts. Happy Halllo-weenie.
