Friday is my last day at the Hilton Harrisburg Hotel. I have accepted the position of Executive Chef and General Manager at Bricco! I am happy and excited about the direction I am heading within our company. I could never have accomplished anything in my career without John Reis and Jason Viscount. Both have mentored me for the last 12 1/2 years to get me to this point. I have learned so much from them over the course of time I have no way of repaying them. My wife Jaci has stood by my side through almost my entire culinary career. The wife of a chef may be a harder job than being the chef itself. Time spent away from each other, to long nights and even earlier mornings. Some weeks you never know when you will have a day off to spend together but she has made it work for us. For everyone at the hotel, I will miss you and Im sure you will be seeing me more often than you think. So, I expect to see every single one of you on my friends list to get your butts in that restaurant and enjoy everything Bricco has to offer.
