Friday marked the 1 year anniversary since Tom passed away, but for many of us it wasnt until this day that we were told as the news broke out from Spain. It was during these 2 days that we were all blissfully unaware of the agony, pain & heartache that was about to rip through the family & community of all that knew him. We are all still struggling to come to terms with his passing, a life that truly promised so much that has been left unfulfilled, but was rich in talent & kind nature. Someone that really could light up a room with his infectious smile & humour. For anyone that had the pleasure of knowing him will tell you the same. The realisation that we will never have him in our presence again still hurts the most. With regards to any new developments & news, unfortunately there isnt anything to report, it is completely out of our hands which is the most frustrating thing of all. A whole year on & we are no closer to any answers, but patience & time is something we have. We will not stop raising awareness, spreading the word & fighting until we have what we deserve. Nothing can bring him back we know but nothing would be more pain relieving than knowing what happened on that morning. Weve been fed so many lies, conflicting stories & different possibilities that it has made it impossible to judge how the situation arose, which led to his death.
