Friday morning update on my mother: She has regained some measure of consciousness, though not much. She is breathing with minimal ventilator support. Our family met with the attending physician yesterday, reviewed everything we know about Mom, and made a plan. We expect to remove the ventilator this afternoon and see how it goes. The outcome is uncertain, but the prognosis is very poor. Thank you for all the kind comments, faith, and prayers you have offered for my family. The angels are near and your love is felt. Thank you!
