Friday night is hoppin wild with music! At 8pm we have Blue Arrows, followed by Robby Roberson and perhaps some friends at 9:20pm: 8pm: Blue Arrows - Music, fun, and an unforgettable time! I once read, An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. When life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means its going to launch you into something great! Keep aiming! All you need is a guitar and a voice and thats exactly what they bring! Blue Arrows is a two part band that brings all styles of music to an acoustic world. Currently both living in LA, Kim Tiedemann (guitarist),born and raised in Ohio made her move to the west coast to pursue stand-up comedy and found common ground with Jocelyn Quinn (singer) a girl from the south who was determined to be heard. Blue Arrows have a passion for performing and music and while on-stage you might just be lucky enough to not only enjoy great music, but a laugh or two as well! These girls have decided to hit the road and bring their eclectic taste in music to everyone, everywhere! Ranging from classic rock, country, and top 40s, this touring duo will absolutely entertain you! 9:20pm: Robby Roberson was born in south Texas and started playing guitar in the mid-sixties after hearing the Beatles play “I Want to Hold Your Hand.” In 2007 the passion for writing and performing songs came into focus and now he performs regularly at local venues, benefits, and music festivals in the Tempe/Phoenix area and around Arizona. Robbys songs are stories of fact, fiction, joy, and sorrow; all set against a backdrop of the various acoustic stringed instruments he plays. He feels that the instruments are not only a means of accompaniment, but an equal performer. Along side his various styles of instrumentation are his lyrics and vocals that create a balanced harmonic, organic, and original musical style. Robby is often joined by Ed Garnero (bass, vocal), Michael Mulryan (fiddle) and Jim Banister (percussion) (aka, The Robby Roberson Quartet-robbyroberson; facebook\RobbyRobersonQuartet; ) $8 admission at the door; doors open at 7:15pm.
