Fridays Computer Tips: - Do not click on link unfamiliar links or open emails from people you dont know. These are the most common ways to infect your computer with viruses. - Laptop: If your laptop wont power on during the Fall or Winter try this: Unplug the power cord from your laptop, take the battery out and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds. Reassemble and power the laptop on. During these seasons a static charge tends to build up, this releases that charge. - Desktop: If your desktop wont power on start by checking all of the cords. Make sure everything is securely seated in the plug ins and the computer. If your PC is plugged in a surge protector try plugging it into the wall, surge protectors can go bad.
