Fridays tip of the day! Take care of those customers. So often - TopicsExpress

Fridays tip of the day! Take care of those customers. So often we forget about the people in our businesses that love the products so much they decided to become your customer. We get so caught up in looking for people to join the opportunity we can forget about the bread and butter of our organization! Did you know that we have on average 7 customers to 1 distributor in It Works today? Thats right! And they love our products and order them month after month. Did you also know that many of our distributors started out as a customer? What makes It Works so special and unique is that we have amazing products that truly change the quality of peoples lives! Thats why unlike many MLM companies we have more customers then distributors. Thats a great thing because many companies are full of only people who sell the product! And that can look fishy and cast doubt that people are only in to make money and the only people that join the company to make money have any interest in the products. Clearly, We dont have to worry about that here! With that being said, one of the most important jobs you have as a representative of our products is customer care and retention. I mentioned that our customers are the bread and butter of It Works and its true. Our customers are a big part of your income every month which means the more you keep the more likely your income will stay steady the more likely at some point that customer will become a distributor! Its at that point that 100s of dollars become thousands! And who doesnt want thousands? So how do we retain our customers? Follow up! I use the 2×2×2 rule. Basically you need to develop a system that works for you. A way to organize your customers so you dont forget about them. Let me explain my system. I use folders. I have 1 folder labeled 2 days another folder labeled 2 weeks and another 2 months. Then i have folders marked January through December. When i sign up a customer i immediately put their customer form in the 2 day folder. Then every day when i get up in the morning i open my 2 day folder and look at the dates on the order forms. Any forms that are 2 days from the date that morning i pull out and shoot them a call or text message. I simply tell them how nice it was meeting them, let them know what the total of their order was after shipping and Tax and i ask if they have any questions about what they ordered. I also see if they would like to get a party on the books. Then after i get off the phone i put them in the 2 week folder. At 2 weeks they will get a call from me asking if they received their products and how they are liking things. This helps me know right away if something isnt working for them and what else i can suggest! I see if they have any questions and remind them Im here if they need anything. Then i put it in the month of the folder that would be their 2nd month as a customer. Then 2 months later i follow up again! This time i will recommend some of my favorites and see how the products they tried so far have worked for them. I build a relationship. I also call them at two months to remind them of the amazing perks that happen if they continue to order. I also may mention the opportunity depending on how that conversation goes. When i get off the phone i put the order form in the month folder that is their six month mark. At six months i shot them a call see how they are doing or if they need any recommendations. I remind them of the perk points they have and the perks of staying a customer for a year! And if they have been consistently ordering over 80 dollars every month i mention the business opportunity since they are already filling the requirements that distributors do. I also mention the perk points for staying to 1 year. The system i just shared may work for you may not the point is that getting the system that works for you is what matters. Not Following up is the main reason people lose customers and you dont want to do that! People buy from you because of the personal touch you put on and the fact you care. If you dont follow up chances our that customer will stop ordering after their 3 months. Its the people that go the extra mile that have tons of customers stay or turn into new team members. Its the people that go that extra mile that see success. Dont waste any time. Get a system for following up and i promise you will keep your customers and even develop new Dts!! Good luck and remember take action now or you may never get that system if you put it off! Happy Friday! !
