Frieda and Alma used to read this to me all the time as a child. Oh how i adored it when they read it to me. they were so animated when they did and used spooky voices to make it scarier. i just posted the picture of the spooky forest chandelier and that last line just popped in my head as I was looking at the images on the walls. I hadnt thought about that poem in years, but googled it and found it. It was written in 1885 by James Whitcomb Riley. Makes me smile to remember how they read it. Looking forward to reading it to my grandkids one day......
