Friendly fires~ Its not about an opinion. Itz not about a feeling. Its about a truth. Truth. A perverted, corrupted, watered-down, altered, compromised, even half truths gets us nowhere. Truth. The idea to soften truth, to make it non-threatening, not hard, not absolute, not narrow, not precise is not truth. Truth. Theres a fundamental irreconcilable incompatibility between it and anything less than truth. Truth. U cant have both. The truth is offensive. This is the very nature of truth. We must stand firm for the truth. Truth is fixed. Its outside of of us individually, its outside of us collectively. U cant change it. You can accept it or reject it. What someone thinks is true does not make it true. Whether it affects anybody or nobody. Whether u agree or disagree. Like it or dislike it. If it is true for one person it is true for another person. Our opinions and our bloody f-f-f-eelings have no bearing on truth. Truth is not a clay model to be shaped into any form by anyone who wants to shape it. Truth doesnt care about your insight. Just saying this i would deal a blow to about 90% of people who parades themselves as "honest" people. Truth is true in and of itself. It is truth whether u know it or dont know it. It is truth whether u understand it or dont understand it. To jettison truth for the sake of broader tolerances isnt truth. Truth is intolerant. For the love of soft words, words which will trouble neither mind nor heart nor anything in between, to be a deep love of tenderness? Such a condition flatters us but these soft words are the exact opposite of tenderness. To submit to hard words produces tender hearts, to submit to soft words produces hard hearts. And in todays culture it sets off all the alarms. I get that. But the real tender heart calls for a jack hammer. Now say it with me--- Truth....
