Friends/Family: Hello from Afghanistan (for the last time)! Just wanted to drop a quick note and let all of you know that all of A Troop has arrived at BAF and is preparing for the journey back to Fort Drum. As our time in Afghanistan draws to a conclusion, I wanted to take this opportunity to personally thank the Soldiers of A Troop for all of their hard work and dedication over the course of the deployment. Since this Troop arrived in Sar Howza nine months ago, they have been asked to accomplish several missions, some difficult and complex, and they succeeded in every endeavor. First Sergeant and I could not be any prouder of the job these Soldiers have done. I can’t say thank you enough to all the families and friends who have been so supportive of the Troop. We will ensure the FRG keeps the families informed on the actual date and time of our arrival. I know I speak for everyone when I say that we can’t wait to get home! Respectfully, CPT Scott Nusom
