Friends! Family! This is hugely important. In the last 10 years of knowing Xavier weve shared a lot. From the beginning of our friendship he has been a mentor to me, offering support, guidance and an amazingly positive outlook on life. Ive come to know his immediate family well and heard so much about his extended family living in Venezuela. Ive also learned a considerable amount over the years about what has been happening in Venezuela and how these issues have been directly effecting his family members. Xavier has started an indiegogo campaign to raise enough money to give his cousin Francis the opportunity to exit these increasingly unsafe conditions and to live safely here in Canada where she can pursue furthering her education.
