Friends & Family, Tomorrow is Oct 7th - International Trigeminal Neuralgia Awareness Day. I am not asking you to donate to a cause, all I ask is that you help raise awareness by wearing teal tomorrow and help turn Facebook teal in support of those suffering with TN. Flare up symptoms include these descriptions; stabbing, electric shock, crushing, an exposed nerve in your teeth, knife to the face, an ice pick to the eye, burning, battery acid meeting car charger, meeting a scorpion one woman said. Things that can cause these flare ups are; eating, brushing teeth, talking, washing face, a light breeze, a single hair touching the face. MOST people with TN say things like, I wouldnt wish this on my worst enemy and If I died tomorrow, It would be ok. My mom, Lissa Campbell Robertson, has been a fighter for 10 years now. It has been a hard 10 years, spending birthdays and holidays in the ER because of these attacks. This Suicide Disease is not as rare as you think its just that there is no awareness about it!
