Friends & Family, do yourself a favor & free yourself from hassle, & never get DIRECTV! This money hungry company decided to charge us $387 due to early termination fee. We had to cancel the service because my landlord has restrictions on installing the satellite & requires $300 additional deposit for the satellite that we didnt have at that time after paying almost $2,000 rent & deposit. Anyway, they decided to send the bill at my old address that I didnt received until just this Thursday. The letter explained that I have 15 days to pay or they will take the payment from the card on file. Well they took it yesterday (3days later) that made me overdrawn! When I called today, the lady decided to tell me to read the disclosure in the bill that I received & told me the letter was sent January 3rd. I told her Id like to have the charges reversed and will give them another card and will pay the bill in full so I dont have to deal with them again. Guess what the lady told me? Since you have the funds, why not deposit that to your bank?. Wow, Great customer service there #DirectTV!
