Friends, Fans, and Fellow Nutcases: We have a shot at being on a nationwide television program (that is all I can say about that) but I am bombing at the audition part of it because I am unable to be loud and bigger than life when answering questions about the type of art we carry and our typical client and artist. Im drawing a blank on stories about FT, which is ironic since I go home every night and tell my husband laugh-out-loud stories about my day here. It isnt translating into examples of why our little corner of the world would be great to be part of this program for an evening. My funny isnt showing. Instead of coming across as my normal self Im coming across as NORMAL. (No, the show wont be about me but Im representing at the moment and have to provide the setting and glue.) Even if I stop my medications, Im afraid I wont be able to parlay what a normal day is here. At least, not without help. So enter you, the daily characters that make this place the vibrant adventure that it has turned out to be. If you dont mind, would you take a moment and give me a reminder of something that has happened here, or a word to describe this place that a network would find appealing? What comes to mind when you think of Finer Things? Me, as the owner, boss, head nutcase, part-time therapist, and full time mess maker?Or the people who work here? In advance, thank you!
