Friends, I am not sure how many of you are paying attention to what is going on with the situation with Syria. President Obama is requesting approval from Congress to take military action in a civil war that has no upside for us to get involved in. The Syrian government is not friendly with the U.S. and if the Syrian rebels seize power they would not be allies to the U.S. either. The civil war in Syria poses no risk to U.S. national security and our involvement will only weaken relations with other nations. This morning I emailed my Congressman and both of my Senators requesting they oppose United States involvement in this conflict. I urge all of you to take 10 minutes and do the same.
