Friends, I am posting this message awfully late, but it is worth reading because it is what I am dealing with and I know you are too. Why you may say? Because we are all fragile humans who collect cares and stress daily. Do you remember the old song I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden? Well so often as Christians we think we are promised a rose garden because we know Christ... Well I am here to tell you I beg your pardon! You are going to get into difficulties in life. Youre not going to float through life on flowery beds of ease... believe me I have tried. Haha! The crises of life come to all of us. The difference is if we know the Lord and His Word; if we know the Spirit of God; if we know how to pray correctly. Some of you are holding onto cares and anxieties tonight. Youre still fretting. In fact, youve even gone beyond fretting. Youre stewing. Haha! Am I right? I have been there and have a T-Shirt to prove it. And tonight others are possibly boiling over with anxiety, care and concern. What God wants you to do is turn it over to Him. No, I didnt say it was easy; especially if youve been in the habit of worry for a long time. I was but I had to get in the habit of faith instead... I still battle this. Tonight release the worry habit into His hands. Lets say this together, Lord, Im putting it into Your hands... Im going to turn that burden and care over to You. I refuse to fret anymore, I refuse to worry anymore. I refuse to be concerned anymore about this... I refuse to be full of care. You said to cast it all on You because You love me; You care for me affectionately and You care about me watchfully, and I thank You for it. Its in Your hands, Lord. Its in your hands from this moment on. I rest on You. Thank You, Father. Guess what? The devil will bring a picture of it back to your mind after you get into bed tonight. What are you going to do? You need to start laughing at him! Say, Yes, devil, you brought that picture back, BUT Im not worried about it. I turned that over to the Lord. And while Im asleep, Hes working on the case, hahaha. And then go to sleep... That is being a doer of the Word of God and not a hearer only (James 1:22). I am saying this because I to am releasing burdens and stress in my heart today... Tonight there are those who are on the verge of receiving their manifestation for healing and deliverance, but it hasnt come yet because you refuse to give it to the Lord... Cast it over tonight... holding on to these cares brings on sickness, disease, all physical conditions and mental ones... TURN IT LOOSE!!!! Quit holding onto it. Let it go (like the song from Disneys Frozen)... LET IT GO!! Lean back on Jesus, He is there. Say it out loud - Jesus is there. The Word of God says, He cares for you affectionately. As Sally Fields once said, You Like Me, You really like me! well Jesus likes you, He really likes you... He does even more than that He loves and adores you. The Bible says, He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. Tonight, just relax, breath, and rest in Him, in His loving arms and get to know Him as Daddy. I am doing that as I sit hear and type this. Much love to you all & have a beautiful, peaceful night resting in Him.
