Friends, I dont want to sound cliché...or to be flippant or repetitive...but am absolutely convinced....so absolutely convinced that I am giving up a major portion of my life right now (thankfully my wife is part of this and supports it 100%) for the COS Project effort....because I am convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that the COS effort IS the proverbial 3rd Party that we all wish could be a reality. But a third party cannot work in this system right now. The states are the 3rd Party....we must convince our state legislators in SC and around the country...like Mark Levin said the other day....that THEY are the last firebase....they are the last bastion....they MUST step up and reclaim the self governance that was intended by the framers in the Constitution with the principle of Federalism. They specifically gave this power to the states in Article V. Make it your priority in 2015...from the git go....to get your SC House Rep and your SC Senator to co sponsor and move our Article V application through to passage. We need 34 states to pass an identical subject Article V resolution...three states passed our template resolution last year. When we get 34....we will get a Convention of States that can propose amendments to the Constitution completely without the President or Congressional approval. The founders specifically foresaw the possibility that there would come a day when the Congress would not consent to the things that need to happen to reset the balance of power and return self governance to the states.
