Friends, I feel like I need to express an opinion...in concern for others health. A lot of us are working harder, longer, with less rest and inadequate diet, at times. I know, I did it during college and am now doing it again. Since reading about a mystery illness Glenn Beck had, how the NY doctors were baffled, then after moving to TX, the doctors there diagnosed him. The main cause of his illness was adrenal fatigue. Youre adrenal gland can only produce so much...and what with many people popping so-called energy shots and drinking so-called energy drinks, cramming bunches caffeine into their bodies, there comes a point where the gland will no longer produce...hence, one hits the wall. Im not saying Beck was downing these things, but I see people buy these things all the time, and many say theyre doubling-up on dosages just to get an edge. A good friend, who is a critical care nurse at USA has told me several times that A light that burns twice as bright burns half as long. Hes right, you know. Common sense, my having a background in emergency medicine as a former Paramedic and his advice, has made me aware of this malady; I am led to miss family time to sleep and rest, while trying to eat more properly and dose heavily on good-quality vitamins. I have NEVER used energy products and never will. Please take care of yourselves and stay off these things...and do your level best to take good supplements instead. Its made a BIG difference to me, especially on those 18-hour days.... Bud
