Friends I want you to know something. Jesus said that people would come after him claiming to be Messiah. He knew somehow there would be false Christs. In I John there is a clue given us: anti-Christs are false portraits of Jesus that come from within the Church. We see the anti-Christ today, only it is not in atheism or secular humanism nor is it in Islam. It is right in Christianity. The anti-Christ is the Jesus who advocates war, who justifies violence, who is coming to bring a jihad, a holy war on sinful humanity. That Jesus which is preached from tens if not hundreds of thousands of pulpits is the anti-Christ. Dont be deceived. A preacher may do miracles and have tens of thousands of followers but if they preach this false Jesus they are not at all proclaiming the Son of the Father nor can it be said they are filled with the Holy Spirit. Their spirit is that of James and John, of Elijah, and of Peter and Judas, who would carry the sword in the name of God.
