Friends, Im so excited to announce a new Pet of The Week addition to our Facebook page! Please, I need your shares to make it work. Its my way of honoring and remembering the perfect love I shared with my sweet Golden Lexi. The love of an animal is one of lifes greatest blessings. I miss her everyday. Ive partnered with my dear friend and her studio, Elizabeth Garrett Photography, to bring you adorable pictures and information about abandoned animals in Lee County who need a forever home and are available for adoption at the LCHS, where Elizabeth Garrett is a regular volunteer. Please take two seconds and share the post each week. The power of social media can bring a lot of joy! Oftentimes the stories I cover and share here make me cry or make me so angry and I bet you feel the same way too. I need to share something consistently good on my news page and I need you to help me unite families by clicking share! Here we go! Lexis Pet of The Week! Credit: Elizabeth Garrett Photography. Diego is a true blue healer. He is beautiful and smart and will be a quick learner. Diego is affectionate but a little suspicious at first, he warms up to you after a few minutes though. He also has a companion that came in with him that we believe also has a lot of blue healer in her but doesnt quite have the same personality. Georgette is a very affectionate girl that loves attention from people. Georgette and Diego are on different rows in the kennel but whenever one is let out he or she immediately runs to find the others kennel to say hello. They greet each other with waggy tails. We would love to see these two go out together since they came in together. Lee County Humane Society is open for adoptions from 12-5 Wednesdays through Sundays.
