Friends In Christ Ministry: Reminder for today God’s Word is positive and uplifting Note: Thank God we can rise above our circumstances because we have all the assurance we need in God’s Word. God expects us to Walk by faith and not by sight. Faith in Gods Word is a lifestyle, a way of life.-- the God-kind of life! (2 Corinthians 5:7) Note: We’re determined to make spiritual progress. We are reaching for greater faith. We start by becoming students of the Holy Bible who have a compelling desire to experience the Lord’s presence, develop greater intimacy with God, and be conformed to Christ-likeness. Its always good to, have A deeper trust in God, and looking to the Holy Spirit before making decisions. The Holy Spirit is always ready to help you reach that next level of faith. Note: Jesus said, Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you (Matthew 8:13). Positive minds produce positive lives, but negative minds produce negative lives. Too often, we cry to Jesus to heal us, we cry to God to take care of our finances, or to deliver us from problems, but we don’t fully expect the good things to happen. We allow our minds to focus on the negative aspects. Doubt and unbelief war against our minds and steal our faith if we allow it. I learned that if I kept studying the Word of God, I could push away negative thoughts. God’s Word is positive and uplifting. My responsibility was to become the kind of believer who honors God with his thoughts, as well as with his actions and his deeds. I understood the remorse David must have felt when he wrote Psalm 51: Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your steadfast love . . . I especially meditated on verse 9: Hide Your face from my sins and blot out all my guilt and iniquities. Gracious God, thank You for every deliverance in my life. Thank You for setting me free from negative and wrong thinking. Thank You for defeating Satan in this area of my life. In Jesus name, Amen.
