Friends. It was quite a night! I am honored and humbled by last night’s victory. Thank you to everyone who entrusted me with your vote, spoke to me on the doors, hosted a yard sign, contributed to the campaign, held a house party, canvassed, phone banked, shared a post, or just passed on a kind word to a friend. Your effort and engagement made all the difference. This campaign has been grounded on the belief, shared by so many of us, that Ann Arbor is going in the right direction -- that although we can improve, we are doing the right things. To build upon that foundation of success, I will do everything I can to work to maintain and improve the quality of life for everyone in our city -- by improving essential, every day services and by taking practical, progressive action make people’s lives better. Now the hard work, the important work, begins. I am so excited to get started. Together, with good cheer and diligence, I know that we can get it done. Thank you!
