Friends, Ive been receiving so many posts the past few days and especially tonight asking for prayers for your loss and or for loved ones that are ill, I want to reach out to my entire friend list and ask everyone to pray these two prayers with me. Bonnie (Prayer For The Sick) Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick, we turn to You in this time of illness. 0 dearest Comforter of the Troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in Your hands. We place our sick under Your care and humbly ask that You restore Your servant (name) to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your Holy Will and know that whatsoever You do, You do for the love of us. Amen. (Prayer for the Dead) God our Father, Your power brings us to birth, Your providence guides our lives, and by Your command we return to dust. Lord, those who die still live in Your presence, their lives change but do not end. I pray in hope for my family, relatives and friends, and for all the dead known to You alone. In company with Christ, Who died and now lives, may they rejoice in Your kingdom, where all our tears are wiped away. Unite us together again in one family, to sing Your praise forever and ever. Amen.
