Friends, Last month Officer Courtney transferred over to the Truancy Officer position with the ISD. He currently works out of the Administration Building. With that transfer, there became a Police / Patrol Officer position available out of our office here at your CISD Police Station. After careful review of applicants and speaking to many people and conducting thorough background investigations I have selected someone many of you will recognize from our Cleveland / Tarkington Community....CISD Police Officer Justin Edwards will start Monday morning with us. In the pictures below you see Badge Number 7 being issued to Justin Edwards. I am so thankful and grateful to have such a decent man working here with us. He is well known throughout our community as not just a good Cop, good Husband, good Dad but above all, he is well known as just one great man. So, to all the tough luck Justin and his family endured over the last year, I say this; Here is your new badge, lucky number 7. We here at the CISD Police Department are so proud to have you on board with us. We all look forward to a great future with such a great asset on our team!!!
