Friends, Malawians, and Countrymen; Allow me to salute the Senior Counsel, the Lawyer who handled Senzanis case up to the plea-taking stage, and after bargaining successfully for his Client. The professionalism displayed is enviably invaluable. The cases Judgment and Sentence aside, the counsel accorded Senzani was first class, and long and short of it all makes the citizenry emerge the winner. Convincing the client to plead guilty and pay damages is no mean feat. I wish Malawi had more of such Lawyers in the Private Practice than him and a few others. UNFORTUNATELY he is now for the State.
