Friends: Mondays chemo went well, in and of itself. Discussion - TopicsExpress

Friends: Mondays chemo went well, in and of itself. Discussion of future chemos included the possibility of reintroducing the drug that is believed to have caused her three emergency room/hospital stays after the third, fourth, and fifth chemo session. Would be accompanied by administering of steroids/benadryl ahead of time and an extended infusion schedule (6, rather than 2, hours). Upcoming CAT scan results will be the key in making that decision. Needless to say, Lindas very nervous about that. We tried to visit Yannis in Greenwood for lunch, Monday, after chemo, but they dont do a lunch trade. So, we ended up at the Aurora Burgermaster. Wednesday, on the way home from having her portable chemo pump disconnected, we stopped at the Pancake Corral on Bellevue Way. Met a retired military gentlemen who was in both Korean and Vietnam. Thanked him for helping to make possible our adoption of a wonderful, if somewhat stubborn, Korean baby. Virginia Mason is now making arrangements with Linda to schedule the CAT scan, so the results can be ready before the next scheduled chemo treatment. Today, Linda is helping put away stuff that was relocated during the big recarpeting campaign a week ago Tuesday. Shes concerned that shes gaining weight, but Im not. Shes eating and thats all I care about. Bye for now.
