Friends: My son Brian posted this (thank you) and I immediately emailed the link to my oncologist. I post it here so you can also consider this issue... not macabrely... but an inevitable reality where your transition can be positively influenced as per this research. And it is not unhealthy to think about such things in my view. Dr. Ashouri: I noted in the article at the link below, that, ...a joint UCLA, NYU and Johns Hopkins team is conducting large-scale phase three trial next year.... and so feel justified in calling this article and the associated links to your attention. Additionally, it made me think ahead to my own demise... whenever that might happen... and hope that my then care team is knowledgeable about these studies and will grant me the kindness to make this herb/cacti (or its pharmacological equivalent) available to me at an appropriate moment (perhaps the sooner the better?) to ease my mind before I exit. I thought also that you may have other current patients that may benefit from this therapy. Don
