Friends Over the last week Em had been feeling pretty well, so good that she talked me into letting her ride her horse and do some time runs last night and race. Today she woke up with a bad headache and nausea. We met with the neurologist toady and were told that riding her horse at anything other than a walk was not appropriate. He said no barrel racing and riding above a walk. DAD got the message! In addition he agreed with the ophthalmologist that her right optic nerve deficits were consistent with the tumor pressing upon her right optic nerve. So he is sending her for another MRI on the 7th, the 4th in two months and back to the neurosurgeon for further evaluation. So this probably means no high school rodeo this year, she is pretty bummed out. The fundraiser last weekend did so much for her mental status and she really felt all of the love. So if you see us at a race and Em has her horse make sure you help me out and not let her talk me into racing her horse. Sometimes you just want to let your kids be a kid rather than a patient.
