Friends, RALLY AGAINST EXPANDED DEER HUNTING IN EAST HAMPTON *SATURDAY, JANUARY 31, at 1 PM.* *Help create a symbolic human picket fence next to the Two Holes of Water Park hunting area.* Even though the DEC decided to prohibit weekend deer hunting in January on East Hamptons state-managed lands, the Town opened weekend shotgun hunting and considerable weekend bow hunting on town-managed lands. This expansion of hunting is taking place while deer are being sterilized in the East Hampton Village. Does East Hampton wish to eliminate the entire deer population? DIRECTIONS TO RALLY: Take Stephen Hands Path past Rt. 114 to the next intersection. Turn left on Two Holes of Water Road. Continue until you see a pond on the right and Nature Preserve signs. Park off on the road. The rally, which will be peaceful, is on the last day of weekend January hunting. We need to send the Town a message. Tell friends!
