Friends, RJ and I have been talking about the show lately, and though we LOVE doing this show, being late 30 somethings with children (RJ with more then most) its really hard to prepare a show, find guest, put together audio, commercials, openings, etc. and do it within a busy week. Its tough because we actually arent willing to give up the show. RJ and I have been friends for almost 30 years, and when we tossed the idea of putting this show to bed, it just didnt feel right. We still love doing it. However in the process we want to look forward to the show every time, not that we dont, but we can see the resentment coming. Its starting to become a chore for us. You see some writing on the wall and to avoid a resenting situation, we discussed what to do. Our feelings were mutual This show is a part of our friendship and our connections with others like Scott, Blake, TC, and our guest who we have enjoyed tremendously. We believe the solution is to bring quality topics, quality guest, and a better well rounded production to you. So we have decided to pursue bigger ideas for the show, to do that we believe that its impossible to do what we do AND bring that every week to you. When you arent Howard Stern people arent exactly banging your door down to interview them and at times its a long process of proving to them that we have a sincere respect for who they are. The solution we think will work is to do a show every two weeks. This gives the group plenty of time to talk about a topic we want to do. We want to tackle fun and serious topics on the show, and honestly to do that we need more time to plan it. I think this will be a great solution for all of us involved. As we speak Scott is trying to land a member of Anonymous, and we have a GREAT show planned in a few weeks on The West Memphis Three that I think will be incredible. So dont tune out yet, dont sleep on the show because none of us are. Needless to say this discussion has cut into time for a show so we will be skipping this week and preparing for next week with fresh minds. We appreciate the support and love, but hope you all understand the need for us to want to give you better, and that we just need more time to accomplish that.
