Friends, Sandra joins me in thanking all of you for taking time to vote for her and encourage her in the HIDDEN IDOL Chennai 2014 competition. We are very grateful for the support! Sandras video had the highest number of LIKES and VIEWS among all the videos. THANK YOU ALL SO SO SO VERY MUCH!!!! Sandras performance was superb & the entire audience was cheering her and adjudged her the best. I am posting the video of her performance which I took using my mobile phone. The compere announced that she was the only contestant to get an encore!!!. However the Reality Shows FOUNDER brushed aside the judges & the rules mentioned in the competition such as Total No of Likes / view etc and he selected the winners in his own discretion. There were 29 finalists comprising of Dancers Group / Solo ( Western & Indian), Gymnasts, Silambattam (Tamil Folk), Painting, Beat Boxing, Hip Hop, Indian/Western Musical Instrumental solo, Vocal solo Indian/Western. There were a total of seven judges in the beginning of the competition. Towards the middle of the program I noticed the FOUNDER of Hidden Idol having some discussions with the judges and when the 14th contestant out of 29 was performing on stage, five of the judges got up and left hall without judging and never returned for the rest of the show. Only two remained till the end. (Since Sandras participation serial number was 11, all the judges were there when she performed). So it was the Founder of Hidden Idol who solely decided the winners. He chose the Silamattam to be No1, A group Dance to be 2nd and A Speed Painter to be third. None of the singers nor musicians were recognized by him. The Founder HI explained that there are many competitions to recognize singers. The crowd was shocked by the decision and shouted UNFAIR. However, as the Founder being the Sole Owner of the event had the final say. The good thing was almost the entire audience came and spoke to Sandra saying according to them she was the best! Even the workers of the Hidden Idol competition secretly gave a bouquet of flowers to Sandra saying she was the best! We accepted the decision of the Founders choice of winners. The best thing that has happened to Sandra in this competition is that she realized the overwhelming support, love and good wishes she has from all of you which has motivated her to apply for International Competitions. She is resolute in her decision to get into the Grammy one day and is working herself toward the goal she has set. Thank you all so very much once again.
