Friends, The way Mr Modi deals with the controversial episode of his marriage with Jashodaben will show whether he has the mettle and the required steel in the spine to lead a diverse country like India and will show his resolve to take on controversial and contentious issues head on. With India and the whole world watching here are my four options : 1. He owns up Jashodben says sorry for her hardship of 45 years and calls her back to live with her, the matter ends and he wins support of women all over the country. (He needs guts of steel for this). 2. He says sorry to her but doesnt own her up instead salutes the Indian Women (Bhartiya Nari) for still praying for him and his success, even after 45 years of his yes/no. (most political solution). 3. He stays neutral, lets things fizzle out, does not comment instead let media form an opinion, allows his family to answer the question, where family tries to shield him that marriage was just a formality and their was never a relationship between the two, he is a saint with only love for his country in mind and nothing else. (Most likely Mr Modi does this act but this will show his weakness to deal with contentious and controversial issues). 4. He goes all out to attack the opposition for raking up personal issues when the Country should be talking about growth, development, security and safety of citizens. He blames the media and opposition for trying to divert the attention. He disowns the marriage completely with ignorance about Jashodben having not met her since last 45 years. He claims to have taken oath of Brahmcharya and says that his country is his mother and his life is dedicated to the well being of 120 crore citizens. (This will be suicidal)
