Friends: This has been one of the most humbling weeks of my life. On Wednesday, I had the opportunity to reach a longtime dream of completing my doctorate in educational leadership. I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of encouragement (before I defended) and congratulations (after the defense). Words cannot express how much I appreciate all the kind words. This has been a long and arduous process. For the past four years, my family has had to make major sacrifices so that I could pursue my dream. This degree belongs to Dana, Hannah, Lindsay, and John Adam every bit as much as it does to me. I feel like I have missed so much, but my family has been wonderful. As I said earlier, when people have asked what they should call me now, my only thought is blessed. I am blessed to have such a phenomenal family. Blessed to have such great friends and colleagues. Blessed that my Heavenly Father has given me the ability to persevere through the difficult times, as well as enjoy the great times. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all of the support you have shown me and my family. May God bless each and everyone of you!
