Friends: Throughout the week, many of you send us Joys and Concerns to share during Sunday worship. This week they are piling up. We need not wait until Sunday to pray. Please consider in your prayers: The bombing of the NAACP office; the victims and survivors of the terrorism events in Paris; the families of the Air Asia flight; the NYPD officers shot this past Monday; all those who work for justice in the face of very real danger; those who live and work outdoors; Leelah Alcorn and all who are not accepted for their gender identity/expression; the truck driver who unwittingly became involved in her death; those who contemplate and those who complete suicide; those who consider doing violence and carry out violence against fellow Children of God - - from workplaces, to schools, to streets, to homes. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayers. In the spirit of Oscar Romero, no one prayer can encapsulate all prayers. Please, add your own as well. +Pastor Chris
