Friends, Tomorrow- December 31st i will be posting my final haiku in a Haiku a Day Challenge I took with over 250 people on January 1, 2014. Through sickness and travel, challenges and celebration, I never missed a day for 365 days. While I posted each haiku in a closed group here on Facebook with the others who took the challenge, I also posted each new poem to my personal page. I have been overwhelmed by the responses of friends and especially thrilled that some of my friends and former students took to writing haiku as well. Most of all, I am grateful for the likes and comments that you have offered me as I developed what I had been sorely needing -- a daily writing practice. Thank you again. What a wonderful thing this social media that keeps us creatively connected in ways we havent yet imagined. Thank you for being part of my 2014.
