Friends: all day, one week from today, is #GivingTuesday. Giving Tuesday was started by givingtuesday.org. It is for every charity to participate in. It is free. There are a TON of free resources for you to access on their site if you are involved in a charity. I will be, both on my own Twitter timeline and on Messagesof_HOPE s Twitter timeline, participating in this by retweeting as much as I can what the charities are doing, but I would like my focus to be the charities/non-profits that YOU are all involved in. It is , I think, the most effective thing I can do to help many small charities,non-profits reach a wider audience for what their needs are and it will spread #messagesofhope. I know MANY of you are involved in charitable endeavors, so if your charity doesnt know of this yet, please help them know and, if youd like, please have them connect with me on twitter/tkpleslie + on twitter/Messagesof_HOPE and I will retweet whatever it is they send me. I will be doing this all day... and in this way, I hope to #makeadifference and #giveback a tiny bit and if you have time to join in for this, please DO.
