Friends and Family: I need more volunteers for the 5K on Sunday, September 7, 2014 to help fight Prostate Cancer with ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer in the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Napa Valley (formerly the Blue Ribbon Run 5K) to help eliminate this horrible disease. Will you consider joining Team McMillan in Napa Valley to help ZERO continue to save men’s lives? The ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Napa Valley is taking place on Sunday, September 7 in Napa. I have set a goal of raising $1,000 to help fight prostate cancer. ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer is committed not only to reduce prostate cancer or alleviate the pain from the disease, but to end it. Every year nearly 240,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer and nearly 30,000 lives are lost to the disease. Can you help bring more attention to a disease that affects 1 in 7 American men? Can you get an item donated for the silent auction that will be online? Can you help stuff bags on Sunday, August 17, 2014 for each participant? Would you be willing to set up tents and tables at 5:30 am on Sept. 7? Would you like to face paint for the kids or help with the super hero race for little kids at 8:15 am on Sept. 7? Would you be willing to cheer on runners at a designated spot of the course? Can you help direct the cars that need to be parked the morning of the race? Would you like to set up a table with water for runners at the halfway mark or at the finish line? Can you help me clean up after the event? I would love any help.
