Friends and Family, today is the day! Felt for iPhone is finally here. It’s been over a year since my team and I launched Felt, our app that lets you send handwritten cards from your iPad. For the last 6 months we’ve been dreaming of how people with crazy lives could send personal, quirky, heartfelt mail with their iPhone. I’ve never been someone who sends mail, but I always wanted to be. So I’m incredibly pumped to share Felt Storyframes. This year you’ll be able to send Holiday cards unlike any other, with photos, decorative frames, handwriting, doodles, drawings and squiggles–– all from your iPhone. I’m not going to pretend that we’re this huge startup with tons of sales and funding, because we’re not. We’re totally bootstrapped and we don’t have much of a budget for marketing and advertising. If you know about Felt and think it’s cool, I can’t tell you how much it will help us if you tell someone else about the app. Even if its just in casual conversation or around the office. Consider yourself insiders and one of our biggest fans. Because, literally, no one knows about this yet :) But more importantly I sincerely hope that you will download the app and play around with it. Make something creative, touching or silly and share it with your friends and family this year. I’ve been making stuff my whole career, but nothing makes me happier than making something that people actually use, that solves a real problem or creates a surprising new possibility for human fun and connection.
