Friends and family of Elaine. I am Gary her son and I wanted to pass a final post to all that have been there for my mother through the good and not so well days. In my mothers final days under much medication she was reciting Psalms 116. Our word tells us when our flesh is weak His spirit is strong. My mothers words started out I love the Lord, and the Psalm reads because He has heard my voice and my supplication. If I had ever seen proof of faith it was in unwaivering times when my mother stood when most had fallen. Even in her final days of life there was a spiritual battle occurring. But by the Word of His testimony she had overcame. Chances are I will never know most of the words my mother had passed on facebook, but I know it was by the Spirit that God had given to encourage and lead. My heart breaks for the passing of my mother but rejoices at her homecoming with Jesus. I have seen the condolences from you all and wanted to thank you personally before we shut down her account. On Sunday we will close out her page to leave no more space for messaging or comments. She is in the arms of our advocate now and any request and seeking of help He will surely provide to us all. My mothers words can be found in all the pages that she found them. If you are in doubt of any reunion with her some day then I encourage you to spend a moment in Romans 10;9. If you need His help all you have to do is believe this passage and by the promise of Ephesians 1;13 He will seal His Holy Spirit in you. To God be all Glory in life and eternal life. Thanks to the love of her sisters Ellen and Bonnie her final days of this life were much more comfortable then any physician could ever compare to. I see my mother in them in there love and care that they provided and in the faith they are strengthened by. In one way or another Jesus has given each of you the ability to care,lift,or encourage another by His words and actions. You are His outreach in this world a continuing self sacrificing Savior in a world that has lost hope. Thank you all.
