Friends and fellow countrymen, we are expanding. We are looking for Director of Operations at our Hyderabad and Delhi offices. With power comes great responsibilities too. Heres what you got to do: Job description 1. Achievement of Business - To own the business plan for the branch both top line and bottom line targets. To meet or exceed mutually agreed Revenue & Sales and Operational Targets. Identify potential sources of demand and supply. Present a strategy for getting them on board. Identify key competitors and propose areas we can differentiate our services. Driving documentation and processes of each department. Actively participate at all organized exhibitions, marketing programs, supply generation tours etc. and professionally represent the organization and be the spokesperson. To maintain weekly/monthly face to face contact with existing clients to ensure that all existing and upcoming business remains organized. 2. Drive the incentive schemes - To ensure that the supply segment is optimally built to meet the demand segment requirements. Device incentive schemes to achieve this. Employee life cycle should be Sourcing ==> Training ==> Deployment 3. Team building and goal setting - Ensure that the teams are engaged, motivated and productive by forging a strong relationship with them. Ensure that new employees are constantly inducted, active and productive. Regular and periodic review, monitoring and mentoring of employees to ensure that they are on track to achieve their goals. Regular classroom and on the field training of the team to equip them with the necessary skill sets to perform optimally. Ensure that the defined sales process of the company is adhered to by the team. Identify and groom future leaders in the team. 4. Day to day operations - Overseeing daily activities between client relation teams and resourcing team . To ensure that proper operations & finance procedures are in place. Ensure working methods such as effective communication (internal & external) at all levels, supply data storing, filing, registration methods and procedures are uniform internally, with clients and candidates. Handling and resolving issues including and not limited to include risk management, clients’ dissatisfaction and employee problems. 5. Hiring & Training - Hiring and training of Field Executives (those supply domestic help candidates) and clients’ team (demand segment) and ensuring targets are met. Creating and implementing training modules for domestic help candidates and coordinating with training manager to oversee training programs. 6. Business Expansion - Identify potential business pockets in the branch jurisdiction. Expand horizons with new business plans and market capture plans both for the demand and supply segments. To identify developments (opportunities and threats/risks) both internally (business processes) and externally (government, clients, competitors) and to pro-actively propose plans to handle these developments in a best way. To maximize existing and new customer relationships, in liaison with Sales and jointly plan and realize growth. 7. Liaison - Own the resource and expense budget for the Branch. Design own Branch level R & R’s, marketing activities and implement them. Desired Skills and Experience • Strong leadership qualities and ability to coach and mentor others. • The individual in this position must have excellent communication, organizational skills and meticulous decision making. • Should be well networked in the local area and have an understanding of the local market, and proven track records • The individual must be able to listen, maintain a very detailed list of daily duties including all problems and correspondence and follow up on all activities and respond to all issues. • This person must be able to juggle many tasks simultaneously and still be available to handle new incoming immediate runs and any problems that arise unexpectedly • He/She must be able to interface on a professional level at all times with a variety of different personalities all the way from Managers to Agencies to workers to clients. • This position is one that requires a lot of attention and a good amount of dedication of time. It is not recommended that 80 hours per week is put into the position but rather that a system is put into place and followed routinely. Experience • Candidate should have experience handling general administration and can focus on housekeeping, facility managementü • Procurement & vendor management & Cost Control Mechanisms • Logistics & Budgetingü • Preferable experience of working with a start-up where the individual was involved in defining procedures and setting policies • Relevant experience in any Agency and services setup handling both parties namely clients and labour (domestic help) segments.
