Friends, i just want to share this true life story with you guys... I was directly involved in it... I was told Romeo and juliet died for luv... In the epic film TROY, i saw how Achillies died for luv... But in real life in sometime August 2009, i witness how a friend of mine died for love... Her name is Deborah...We all call her debby... She was dating Jerry...Jerry was my friend in the secondary school...Later Jerry became close tomy cousin Joe and from there jerry introduced BJ to Joe and myself... We formed a great friendship... I started my National diploma in 2007 which created a big space between us all... I was at Surulere in Lagos and the others were in Badagry so the only way we get together is by conference calls on Extra cool.. It was during one of those calls that the group introduced Debby to me... I never saw her but could hear her voice from the other side of the telephone... We were all proud of each other and Jerry luv for Debby increase every minute of the day... I promised the group to come home one day so dat i could meet Debby in person but i never knew that will be a tall story i am posting now.... Little did i know that Debby visited Jerry and stay till evening and because here home was far away, jerry told her to pass the night for safety sake... For the luv and believe in her sincere JERRY, Debby could not turn down the request of Jerry. She passed the night and i swear nothing happen because she slept not in jerries room but in the room of another female family member... In the morning when Debby got home, her mum and her dad were crossed with her... They rained words on her... They call her names all because they were dissappointed in her action.. Yes they were right as caring and loving parent... They spend the wholee morning having serious argument on the issue and immediatly they involve Jerry, luv, passion and the inner drive Debby got for Jerry wont allow her stand and see anyone not even his parent call HER JERRY names, so he dashed to the kitchen, reach for the SODA the family utilised for watching the dishes and DRANK it for luv... She was rushed to the Badagry general hospital but her condition got worse as she could always cough out blood.. She promised Jerry, Joe, BJ and the other girls in the group that she will be well to make us all happy... She told me on phone that she is waiting for me..... On the day i left lagos, i arrived Badagry at around 9:20am...I got a call from joe to meet the group at jerries home.. Because of the rain, i waited for an hour... Tittle did i knew that DEBBY has said GOODBYE to this platnet at LUTH... I got to jerry home to get the news.... It was real painful and at the Ibereko cememtary, i saw Debby for the first and last time when the preacherman open the wooden casket... She was in lace... From that day on, i have vowed not to play with anyone affection.... Jerry still suffers the pain to dis day... If you think it is bedtime story that some people could die for luv, then i will say it is not..... Bonne weekend Africa....
