Friends,immense Potential lies under the auspices of The Kenya Law Students Society,begging to be unlocked.One of the foremost Students Society to be registered and legally of an equivalent calibre as the Law Society of Kenya(LSK).In an united front,Safeguarding the Rule of Law should be our number one mission as learning friends question executive excesses,constitutional lacunas,legislative mischief and Judicial errors in worthy debates as leaders of the students society cow not in condemning mal-administration. Aside from that,as students of law,we must give due regard to the significance of mentorship of our young legal minds.Enough fora,such as conferences,Public lectures,community service and legal aid clinics all financed and in partnership with leading law firms,non-governmental organisations,government offices,international non governmental organisations and last but not least,The University of Nairobi College of Humanities and Social Sciences should be organised. The seat of Treasurer KLSS is at the very centre of all financial fortunes of this body.We need to outsource for funds friends,we need to be bold enough to approach such interested partners,draft brilliant proposals,lobby incessantly and diplomatically when required,ensure a transparent,democratic and accountable use of such moneys and finally serve this society we owe all our developmental ambitions to. Friends,I committ to change KLSS,I pledge to embrace the wind of change,I ask to serve and as I campaign,I hope to build a close friendship with all of you since such change requires unity of purpose and a collection of minds and effort.I thank you.God bless KLSS.
