Friends let us have a Second glance at our bibles in the book of Genesis again. God said let us make man According to Our own Image and Likeness. Then, He created man according to His Image. (Likeness was Not Yet) If the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil was in the Midst of the garden then it certainly has Importance. The serpent twisted the Words when tempting Eve. But one thing it said which The Lord confirms later is this. You shall be Like God. Later God said that Behold man has become Like One of Us. Then, He banished them. But earlier God said He wanted to create Man according to His Own Image and Likeness. Yes, He created men according to His Image. But it is about His Likeness that Evil intercepted and destroyed. Now, no one is able to have the wonderful Ways and Behaviour of their Father. They are not able to live Like God. His Likeness is not in us. Jesus teaching about the Kingdom of God is about restoring this Likeness. Let Your Will be done. Not my Will but Your Will.
