Friends, major prayer request of salvation for my new friend - TopicsExpress

Friends, major prayer request of salvation for my new friend Jamal. I met him tonight while eating dinner in Pennsylvania. He was the Chef at the restaurant and came out to bring me a complimentary slice of cheesecake. Much to my surprise I shared with him that I am ever so grateful but that I am trying to eat healthy and cannot accept it. He said he would be offended if I did not accept it, so I thanked him. Before I left the restaurant he came back over to say goodbye and I asked him his name - He spoke with a heavy accent and said My name is Jamal I asked him where he is from and he shared that he is from France. I asked him 2 questions that he said surprised him and will make him really think about what he believes. First I asked him Jamal, do you know The Lord Jesus? He said of course I do I am 100% Muslim, born and raised, so I read the Koran and I went to Catholic School in France, so I read the bible to. I responded with the second important question Who do you say Jesus Christ is? He said well Muslims and Christians both believe in Jesus. I explained that was not my question. I asked again who exactly is Jesus in the Koran. He explained Jesus, he is a great prophet we love him. I said Jamal, there is an inherently significant difference between a prophet and Messiah. Jesus, sent by God the Father, said in his own words I am the way the truth and the life and no one gets to the father accept through me John 14:6. He said well does that small difference matter? I explained that it is not a small difference, in fact a huge difference, it is the difference between eternity in hell and eternity with God the Father. That we all have to give an account for our sin and whether we denied Christ- who paid for our sin, or accepted his blood shed as Messiah and surrendered to him as the only, true Lord. He said well, I guess that it is true but I am not completely sure yet. I asked him if he had a bible, he said yes, of course. I told him to read it and he will see that the bible is very different than the Koran and tells a completely different picture of life than the Koran. I encouraged him to think about where he will spend eternity and he has a choice to make accept Jesus as Messiah and place his trust in His shed blood or deny his deity and Lordship and worship Allah, eternity in hell. He said I have never thought about those questions before Do I know The Lord, and who really is Jesus. He said he will think about this more and do some research, and he may come to hear me speak tomorrow at a Pro-Life Rally at 3 pm. Please pray for Jamals salvation that the eyes of his heart would come to see Jesus as Messiah Lord - so much more than a great man and prophet! Jamal thought he was blessing me with a gift of cheesecake and God was blessing him with the gift of the Good News - the gospel of Jesus Christ! Praise Jesus! Thanks
