Friends, many of you watched and cheered us on as the Madison Scouts Corps of Brothers marched in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Would you be interested in seeing a film that documents one season in the life of this 76 year-old organization? Scouts Honor: Inside a Marching Brotherhood is a feature-length documentary that follows three members from the 2012 edition of the Madison Scouts drum and bugle corps from the audition process through Spring training, and the Summer tour across the United States to the Drum Corps International World Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana. I’m helping to coordinate a one-time screening of the film here in Atlanta on March 4th 2015. The event is being handled through Gathr Films which facilitates on-demand theatrical screenings of independent films. “On-demand” means that we need minimum number of reservations for the screening to to confirmed.
