Friends of Salem Bike-Ped Corridor Notice Town of Salem Deliberative Session @ Salem High School Saturday, February 1, 9:00 am The Friends of the Salem Bike-Ped Corridor encourage you to attend the Town of Salem deliberative session in the High School for the town to accept and administer the Transportation Enhancement grant awarded in 2010. This is a mandatory step before the article appears on the March ballot for final approval. While no Salem taxpayer money is being requested, the total TE grant #16031 to be managed is $1,097,642 which includes the Windham section. Come and hear all the details then help us keep the project moving forward with your vote! Meanwhile, fundraising efforts continue in between the snow storms. Have you walked, X-C skied or snowshoed on the corridor this winter? You may be surprised how nice it is – and to get away from Route 28 traffic. Take care, and we hope to see you this Saturday at the town deliberative session!
