Friends, the following is an email I wrote today in response to the latest FIVE THINGS TO CONNECT YOU TO COOPER drivel. I had stopped reading those emails, but some reason I opened this one to see what the end of the year summary might be. Then I got mad. Very mad. Dear Cooper Sycophants, This is the most exquisite collection of Orwellian lies Ive read in many months; perhaps since I last read any of the preposterous statements made by Pres. Bharucha and his underlings. To the cheerleader who wrote this dishonest summary that mentions nary a word about the crisis that is Cooper today: for shame. Get a job that will enable you to sleep at night with a clear conscience. To those who approved this email, Im sure you are all beyond shame by now. Many thanks for the reminder to donate again to Save Cooper Union. I think I will increase my planned donation to support the fight to rid the school of those who have been destroying it.
